VEX IQ Competitive Robotics Program
Our VEX IQ Competitive Robotics Program is designed for students ready to take their STEM skills to the next level. This is not a typical robotics class—students train as a team to design, build, and compete in official competitions hosted by the REC Foundation.
Students go beyond just assembling robots. They learn how to think like engineers—developing game strategies, building efficient mechanisms, programming autonomous routines, and documenting their work in professional engineering notebooks. Every session emphasizes teamwork, communication, and problem-solving under real competition conditions.
Through hands-on challenges and guided coaching, students gain experience in:
Designing and building competition-ready robots
Strategic thinking and game analysis
Coding autonomous robot movements
Engineering documentation and judging preparation
Collaboration in a structured team environment
Our Goal is Simple
Prepare students not just to participate—but to compete with confidence. By the end of the season, students walk away with real-world engineering experience, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure—skills that extend far beyond robotics.
