Apply to join Expansion Core’s VEX IQ Intern Coaching Program — a selective program designed for motivated high school students who are ready to lead and mentor the next generation of robotics competitors.
As an intern coach, you will:
Mentor and guide younger VEX IQ teams through the engineering design process
Assist with robot building, programming, strategy, and competition preparation
Support teams competing in nationally recognized VEX IQ tournaments
Develop advanced leadership, communication, and technical problem-solving skills
This program provides hands-on experience in engineering leadership, competitive robotics strategy, and team mentorship — valuable experience that stands out on college applications, scholarships, and future STEM opportunities.
